Some of the basic rules: Foreign language courses are way apart from other courses and you should never stall the proceedings. When you defer a foreign language course, it is as good as a failure and you must ensure that you spend a minimum of 3 hours weekly and 15 minutes on a daily basis for this. Try to spend as much time as is in your hands but never devote more than 45 minutes per session when you are learning the language.

Start talking: Making mistakes is natural so listen to others in the class and start to speak. You can have a good practice of the foreign language if you speak out loudly to yourself, to others in the same class or with your dog or cat at home.

Noting it down: Know how to express yourself in writing everyday till it comes a part of you.

Follow a dictation of the language and check how much of it you have written correctly.

Other helps: Must have a positive deportment and know your goals and reasons for studying the foreign language.
